HISTORY
Wenmo Zhang has eleven years of professional landscape architecture experience. She was a Senior Associate in TLS landscape architecture for seven years, leading and designing numerous award-winning and widely published projects throughout the US and China from urban planning/design projects to small-scale garden design. Regardless of size, she strives to bring out the identity of every project through its cultural context, ecological value, aesthetic, and function. She has rich experience cooperating with architects, planners, structures, local design institutes, and many design consultants on large-scale public projects. Her professional leadership and overall control capability help projects to obtain outstanding achievements.
Wenmo’s featured project Shanghai Sanlin Green Wedge Ecological Park won the International competition first prize in 2017, the 2019 ASLA-NCC Honors Award, and the 2019 WLA Award shortlist. In the same year, the article Shanghai Sanlin Valley Park - Landscape Design of An Urban Green Wedge was published in Landscape Architecture Frontiers 2019, Vol.7.
Before US work and study experience, Wenmo worked at China Urban Planning Institution for almost 2 years.
